The color was magnificent and these buggers lasted a long time! It was a visually amazing horticultural choice. The prime location for quite a few wedding albums...During the summer, on some Saturdays, there were bridal line-ups with photographers in tow.
So the temperature is finally going down and I spotted these...while trying out my new Fisheye camera from Lomo. What fun! Will be posting more of these funky little round pics.
Some of these doorways just jump out at you when walking around and give you a glimpse into great, albeit private, courtyards. This one was off of de la Commune on the west side, just east of St-Pierre.
Can you guess where this is? Sandwiched between the Gibby's courtyard and St-Pierre street, its access is usually restricited. There used to be a little café right around that fountain in the back...the very first summer job I ever had waiting on tables (if you could call it that at the time). Now it has this almost abandoned etherial feeling to it.
