Look at that sky! YMC took the shot. As it gets cooler outside, the steam gets more and more condensed. I know, I fiddled with the steam to get it more contrasted and it shows. I also know, Molson is in the news...pure coincidence I swear.
A while after those incredible clouds in the front of the building (looking onto PJC), YMC, my favorite guest photographer, went up on the roof and took this shot. Imagine that, horizontal lightening shooting sideways out of a cloud!
You cannot be afraid of heights for this job! Fixing building borders at arms length at I-can't-even-imagine-how-high heights. To see the wonderful results of this man's work, go to the corner of Notre Dame and St-Vincent in Old Montreal. L'ancienne bâtisse de la Sauvegarde. Amazing what some sandpaper, some paint and a lot of elbow grease can do to put right this great piece of architecture.
A relaxed view of what used to be the post office, corner St-Jacques and St-François-Xavier. Doesn't go without reminding me of an earlier shot of another building a couple blocks away.
From St-Dizier (street named after a small French town close to my heart) looking towards the Old Port. The infamous caleches of Old Montreal. You have to live here to understand how difficult they are they manage when in a car (that's why I like my bike!). Create a postcard from this photograph
