I found this graffiti on a door in a back alley in Old Mtl, somewhere around Place Royale. What a great drawing...and if it wasn't for this photograph, I'm not so sure many people would be privy to it at the moment, it being in chalk and all...and all that rain that fell this morning, even with her umbrella to protect her.
I have a thing with doors, but I have to blame it on the doors themselves. These last few were so nice I had to take out my camera. Although I have tendency to like the older looking ones, this one had some caracter and got included in the gang. I know it's around de la Commune and Place Royale, but I have completely forgotten its exact location.
Finally, another dog's eye view shot. I loved the mini tile at the bottom of the wall and again...my favorite, the vignetting (I swear, completely unplanned). I like the green-yellow of the wall and the wood of the door in contrast with the red mini tiles. Place Royale, east-side, closer to de la Commune they just left the door open!
As you can clearly see, the typical vignetting so dear to my heart is well displayed in this shot. There are some doors around here that are so worth recording on film, this one along with some barred-up windows make you wonder how long they have been around. On de la Commune Street, corner St-François-Xavier.
