It was absolutely stunning, malgré the apparent damage. Pieces of paper "glued" on walls everywhere in Paris. This one was seen from Ile de la Cité, looking onto Ile St-Louis. Here is the artist: www.womenareheroes-paris.net/
Looked like a necklace right out of the bed shoppe. It is actually an entrance to the metro Palais Royal on Place Colette. On our way to the Grand Véfour.
You know spring is on the way when the ice is running off the fire escape! (hihi...I know it's lame, but I'm trying ok!? it's hard for everyone these days)
Another take on the puddle reflection I posted earlier in the spring. I have been PSing some of my photographs and enjoy the "unrealness" I create while playing with what they call the "photo filters". Not to be overdone though, I can definitely understand how this could become a pain if applied to many photographs.
Once in a while, I get this abstract thing going and this is the result. The previous "Mirrored self" was ok but this shot I really like. Taken with a Pop9 from lomo and then completely rearranged in PS, I find this self portrait kinda fun. So I inaugurate my new category "Abstract" with this photograph!
This is what happens with a fisheye lens mounted on a Holga along with a 6x6-sized frame and a forward-wind restriction that sticks all the frames together, hence a fishing rod headed for a chair. Oh...and the red glow is from the red colorflash. I kinda like the chair.
This is a beautifully lit tree right across the way from my window. Against the stone wall with that orange lighting and that window, give off an unusual look, especially since we cannot see the source of the orange light.
This is the second of my abstract photos. Again, I didn't get what I wanted (probably a moving cruise boat out of the port at night) so I moved the camera on the tripod, but the exposure for that particular photo wasn't over. Thought this one looked like a fire.
I am not particularly drawn to abstract photography, but I have two shots that are really interesting and strange. I wanted to take one of these infamous "nightshots" and something went wrong and I moved the tripod before the exposure was over (I usually go for 20 to 30 second exposure time on these). And I got these duck heads!
