You know spring is on the way when the ice is running off the fire escape! (hihi...I know it's lame, but I'm trying ok!? it's hard for everyone these days)

A bench sandwich

Taken back in September, beyond Berri going east.  Totally residential, nice and quiet.  Reminiscent of "a building sandwich".

The icicle fairies

These guys come out and save our lives in a particularly interesting way in winter. They are the "icicle fairies", getting rid of the ginormous stalactites that form on our old buildings with strange shaped roofs. Makes for great photography!

Count the birdies

The bush was just filled with these guys tweeting away with a vengance! You could hear them from across the street. (I counted 12 of them..)

Place d'Armes, all in blue. Before the -8 C sets in, I thought I would finally comply to a request I've been putting off for a good week!

University reflection

It was an amazing reflection, just begging to get shot as I walked by yesterday. Lighting can just tweak it all perfectly sometimes.

Menacing outlook

Look at that sky! YMC took the shot. As it gets cooler outside, the steam gets more and more condensed. I know, I fiddled with the steam to get it more contrasted and it shows.  I also know, Molson is in the news...pure coincidence I swear.
